Women's Golf Majors in 2027: Dates, Venues and How to Plan Your Viewing

A practical calendar for following the women's game, with official sources and the details to check before booking.

By Texpak · · 4 minute read

The five women's golf majors in 2027 are the Chevron Championship, U.S. Women's Open, KPMG Women's PGA Championship, Amundi Evian Championship and AIG Women's Open. The calendar below separates confirmed playing dates from the wider tournament week, so a Monday-to-Sunday listing is not mistaken for seven days of competition.

These are scheduled events, not predictions. The LPGA's 2027 announcement supplies the season framework. Playing dates come from the Chevron daily schedule, USGA fast facts, KPMG championship page, Evian championship website and AIG daily ticket schedule.

New and returning events beyond the majors

The LPGA's announcement also lists the Futu Ladies World Championship presented by Moomoo in Hong Kong for March 1–7, the Nanea Cup in Hawaii for March 8–14, and the return of The Classic at Corning for May 24–30. These are tournament-week listings, not confirmed daily round schedules. They give fans more dates to follow without confusing new events with the five established majors.

How to follow the season without missing a major

Add the five event windows to your own calendar, then add a second reminder a week before each tournament. Use that reminder to check the final field, local broadcast listings and the organiser's daily schedule. An event date does not establish which broadcaster holds rights in your country or when a featured group will tee off.

For a useful viewing habit, follow one group for part of a round instead of watching only a sequence of highlights. Notice how players prepare, choose a target and manage the time between shots. You do not need to copy a professional's equipment or swing to enjoy the decisions unfolding.

If scoring is unfamiliar, keep our plain-English scoring guide nearby. A number under par describes a score relative to the course; it is not automatically a lead over every other player. The live leaderboard supplies that context.

Before booking a trip

Start with admission for the exact day you want. A practice-day ticket, a championship-round ticket and a hospitality package may offer different access. Check the named ticket product rather than assuming the whole tournament week is included.

Pack for walking and watching. A golf glove is useful if you are also playing on the trip, but it is not a spectator essential. Comfortable footwear and clothing appropriate to the conditions deserve priority.

Turn watching into your own first round

Watching a major can make the game feel accessible, but your first outing does not need tournament-level equipment. A lesson, a manageable course and a small collection of suitable essentials are a better starting point than copying an entire professional bag.

Use our first-round checklist for the practical details. When choosing a glove, judge palm and finger fit rather than assuming a women's or men's label alone guarantees the right shape. Our glove fit guide explains the checks.

Common calendar questions

Does an event week mean spectators can attend every day?

No. The Chevron schedule, for example, identifies early-week activities that are closed to the public. Always match a date to the organiser's admission information.

Where can I find the men's majors and Ryder Cup?

Use our separate 2027 men's majors and Ryder Cup calendar. Keeping the calendars distinct makes the five women's majors easier to find rather than hiding them inside a much larger list.

Are these times shown in my time zone?

The table gives event dates at the host venue, not television times. A late round in one country may fall on a different local day for an overseas viewer. Confirm your provider's local schedule nearer the event.
