The four men's golf majors in 2027 are scheduled for 8–11 April, 20–23 May, 17–20 June and 15–18 July. The Ryder Cup follows on 17–19 September at Adare Manor in Ireland.
Use the calendar below to plan your viewing, club activities or an independent golf day. It covers these five events, rather than the entire professional golf season. Dates were checked against official event and tour information on 29 October 2026.

The event-week column includes build-up or practice dates. It does not mean championship rounds take place on every listed day. Individual tickets may cover a particular date or experience; always check the organiser's description.
April: the Masters at Augusta National
The Masters competition is scheduled for 8–11 April. For someone planning a viewing get-together, decide which local day and session you want to watch before arranging food, guests or venue hours. A broadcast that starts in the afternoon in Georgia may run late at night elsewhere.
Check your local broadcaster closer to the tournament. A date on this calendar is not confirmation of a particular television channel, streaming subscription or tee time.
May and June: two majors in the United States
The PGA Championship moves to Fields Ranch East at PGA Frisco for 20–23 May. The U.S. Open is scheduled for Pebble Beach on 17–20 June.
Keep the event names separate when booking or searching. The PGA Championship is one of the four men's majors; “PGA TOUR event” is a broader description and does not identify that championship.
If you are travelling, match every booking to the exact event, venue and ticket date. Check official access and transport information before making arrangements.
July: The Open returns to St Andrews
The R&A advertises The Open's wider week as 11–18 July, while the championship rounds run from Thursday 15 to Sunday 18 July. This distinction matters if you are choosing between a practice-day visit and a competition-day visit.
Do not assume an image of a famous course on an unofficial sales page establishes ticket validity. Follow the official event links below for attendance information.
September: the Ryder Cup in Ireland
The Ryder Cup's build-up starts on 13 September, followed by competition on 17–19 September. It is a team match-play event, so watching it involves different scoring from a regular stroke-play tournament.
Our Ryder Cup format guide explains foursomes, four-ball and singles without assuming you already know the terminology.
Put the calendar to practical use
Save the competition dates first, then check local broadcast times and any venue booking you need. For a club or company activity, appoint one person to recheck the official schedule before invitations are finalised.
An independent golf day does not have to coincide with a major. Choose a date that works for your players, course and weather. Our corporate golf-day checklist explains how to organise the activity and merchandise around that date.
This calendar will need review if an organiser changes its schedule. Event names are used for identification; Texpak is not presented as an official partner of these championships.
